  In Sacramento, we didn't know where to really go. There was a hype about Bacon and Butter BUT it's not all that great. More fancy decorative appeal than taste appeal. I came across Waffle Square and the pictures kind of sold me. It reminded me of Denny's. We came in and there were only a few people in the restaurant. The food looked amazing, so we sat down and ordered. The waiter/hostess guy was soooo sweet and pleasant. We ordered our food and it came out in like 10-15min. It was soooo much more than we thought. The kids plate was huge! Haha. I could've ordered it for myself. The waffles are the go to! They are so light and fluffy! Oh and I never say this BUT the BUTTER was amazing! Haha. I don't know if they make it or what! Any way I totally recommend this place. May not look like much from the outside or the inside, but the food was great and it was nice and quiet. "Don't judge a book by its cover." Check it out!

  Ehhhh. Stopped here for a quick brunch which turned out longer than it should have . Service was fine and I do not think it was a server issue for the delay but they kitchen. Found was ok. Prices are good . I will not be back here .

  This place was very delicious, very friendly staff you'll be seeing us back. (:  
  Mike was our server and was very friendly and attentive and I highly recommend asking for him. He takes great care of his guests

  Currently still at the restaurant but because they are taking forever I am writing this review.
  
  The wait to be seated was long (even though there was a ton of empty tables), the wait to order was also long, the wait to get our food was ridiculously long, and now, the wait to be charged is also taking a long time.
  
  My bf and I were going to go to bacon and butter but decided against it because the wait was long(we honestly just should have gone there)
  
  Our server was alright, the food portions were huge. My double chocolate chip waffles had no chocolate chips inside like it said it was supposed to. If I lived in the area I would say that I probably wouldn't return but I guess I don't have to worry about that :)

  This was a delicious breakfast!  I'm so happy I tried waffle Square.  I ordered the Denver omelet with a side of sausage.  It was perfect.  Fresh veggies and tasty ham with fluffy eggs ... the green pepper an onions were  perfectly balanced.  Not a second over cooked not under cooked.  It was topped with Colby Jack cheese and it was served piping hot.  The hash browns were really good.  So your asking, how could hash browns be anything but hash browns? They were subtly different.  Not just shredded russet potatoes.    I could taste both red and russet potatoes.  The flavor was great. The server was a really nice guy.  We were served hot coffee and water within  a minute of siting down. The server took our order as soon as we put the menus down.  Which was amazing because the place was busy.  It took only 9 min 30 second to serve.  The price of two breakfasts was $24.00 before the tip.  We had the same breakfast at Flapjacks yesterday and the price was $32.  So good food. Good service. Great price!  The only complaint i have is the photos of the omelet on the menu didn't look as good as the omelet when it was served.  I have driven past this place for 23 years.  I didn't stop once.  I don't know why.  Im sure glad i tried it.
